DESCRIPTION

Midian's PDE-1 is a desktop paging encoder for POCSAG, 2-tone, 5-tone, DTMF, and Pulse Tone. The PDE-1 can transmit POCSAG at 512, 1200, or 2400 baud and offers up to 10 pre-canned messages. 2-tone formats include Motorola's Quick Call II™ Reach, GE Type 99, and Aviation Call. Plectron can also be achieved by using Any 2-tone feature that allows for any 2-tones between 300-3000 Hz to be encoded. Pulse Tone is supported with 1500 Hz and 2805 Hz dialing for HEAR systems. The dispatcher can enter up to 155 users aliases and associate 10 of the 155 aliases with the speed dial function.

APPLICATIONS

Midian's PDE-1 is ideal for paging virtually any tone and POCSAG pagers for hospitals, campuses, retailers, industrial users or for testing pagers. The PDE-1 can be used to replace the discontinued PE-1000 by Communications Specialists (Comm Spec or CSI).

DESCRIPTION

Midian's TRC-700 allows a dispatcher or operator to control a remote base station or repeater using the standard EIA tone format over a dedicated phone line, microwave path or telemetry link. It also employs an intercom feature to allow the dispatcher to talk to other parallel tone remotes on the same system. With the built-in keypad the operator can select up to 17 functions/frequencies. The Pulse Tone functions enable the dispatcher to encode and decode 1500 Hz or 2805 Hz pulse dialing for hopsital HEAR systems.
